Information only

The site provides general information about cultivating mushrooms. It is not medical, nutritional, legal or food-safety advice. Cultivation figures are typical ranges from published sources and may not suit your strain, substrate or setup. You are responsible for how you use the information, including following local laws and hygiene rules.

No identification or edibility advice

We do not identify wild or foraged mushrooms and we do not say whether a mushroom is safe to eat. Never eat a mushroom based on anything on this site.

AI tools

The AI Photo Agronomist and AI Grow Consultant produce automated guidance that can be incomplete or wrong. They are free to use within fair-use limits, which we may change or remove. Do not upload photos or text you do not have the right to share, or that contain personal information.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site or its tools: no automated scraping at scale, attempts to bypass limits or security, or use that harms other people or the service.

Content and licences

The text, data compilation, design and calculators are owned by Mushroom Growing. You may share links and quote short excerpts with attribution and a link back. Photos carry their own licences and credits shown next to each image. Please ask before republishing substantial parts of the database.

No warranty and liability

The site and tools are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from the use of the site, including crop losses, financial decisions or health outcomes.
